The Vast Designer of the universe calls upon us with each breath to carry out the work that was begun with our birth. It may not seem like it but when we were given life and breath there was a shift in the world that created a ripple. Every breath we take, every move we make, continues the rippling. This wave of our lives is what impacts the world around us. It is what influences our vision of the world both within ourselves and outside of ourselves. Sometimes we lose touch with what our ripple effect is because we think it does not have an impact. We are all energy. Energy travels in waves. It has resonance and moves and flows. Pause for a minute and notice the wave of energy that you experience when you take a breath in and out. You sense the flow movement of energy. We experience it physically as air but it is so much more than that. We have the capability to make a tremendous impact with our energy. I need God’s help so that I don’t get stuck in the thinking that I don’t make a difference and that I am stuck. It simply isn’t true but when I don’t see things happening on the physical level I presume that to mean nothing is happening. God brings me back to the wave of my breath to recognize its tremendous gift. It brings me to the moment I am actually in and allows me to courageously let go of whatever else my mind is going on about. My prayer for us today is that we be for a moment with the tremendous nature of our very breath and embrace with God’s help the moment of movement that we are in. Make it a great one! Peace~Colleen
