God is grounding!  I know that when I feel like life is throwing me about and I am at the effect of life I feel unsafe and unsure.  In those moments I need God to be more than just there for me.  I need God to be the anchor of life and love.  I need God to be the resounding voice of assurance that even though I am not feeling connected to the core of who I am, God only sees the connection.  It is not about being saved from my experience, it is about knowing that I can weather the storm. It is about having faith in a power that is never swayed to see me differently because of my experiences.  It is about trusting that God’s vision of my true self is grounded in the fundamentals and truth of love eternal.  God knows it is only a matter of time before I remember the same.  God is willing to be by my side as I make my way back to  being rooted in the wholeness of myself and others.

My prayer for us is the courage to trust that God is rooted in the truth of who we are in love at all times even today.
