God is The Image.  We create our understanding of God from the images that are passed down to us.  We develop a feeling of God by knowing God’s presence in our hearts.  We are invited continually to evaluate our understanding of God by exploring the dwellings of our hearts.  God is present in the world in a very real and concrete way through the human experience.  God also transcends the world by being present in a non-physical experience.  We get a chance to form our own perception of God by spending time in the quiet space of love.  This perception is personal and universal.  This developed understanding is what allows us to form a mature relationship with God.  God is looking to meet us eye to eye, heart to heart, and hand to hand.  A daily gift of my daily prayer and meditation date time with God has been when I am open to seeing God anew by exploring the limitlessness of my own heart.

My prayer for us is the courage to explore the realms and undefinable presence of God by searching first within our own hearts.
