God is enduring.  Whenever I think I cannot go on God reminds me that God can.  The power of enduring love is its amazing capability to be present even in the seeming lack of love.  It blows my mind that God is not phased by the thinking that throws me into a tizzy.  Clearly, God is greater than I.  In my daily meditation date time with God I am greeted with an excitement and expectancy of goodness.  God sees this in me even when my head is clouded with a lack of gentleness, a dark perspective, or a chatter that will not end. God’s willingness to be with me patiently and lovingly through to the other side of whatever it is that I am experiencing that is not God’s reality. God does not push me to quickly abandon that which is blocking me from seeing the love that I am.  God sits with me in patient acceptance and let’s me know that I will make it through this.  I need that. I need the power of patience that surpasses all understanding.

My prayer for us is the courage to trust that God has greater patience with us than we have with ourselves.
