God is good.  One of the best things about being in relationship with God is knowing that all God is resides within me.  I am part of my Creator.  Despite what happens in my life I can always know this to be true.  Am I always a shining example of my creative essence?  No.  Am I always willing to rest in my heart that knows the truth of who I am?  No.  Am I always able to remember that what is happening outside of me does not change who I am at my core?  No.  Thankfully God doesn’t see things as always or never.  God sees life as a series of lessons and opportunities for growth.  God does not doubt God’s creation but knows that sometimes I do.  God knows I get distracted by the physical universe that surrounds me which seems to drown out God’s still small voice reminding me who I am.  This is why God is excited about our daily date time that I dedicate specifically for God and me. During this time, mostly unhindered by the world around me, God greets me with the all-encompassing love and reminder of who I truly am.

My prayer for us is the courage to be consistent with our daily meeting of ourselves and God encompassing love whether formal or informal.
