Look past the words
Notice what you feel
outside the terms
more is revealed
Not trying to conceal
we can’t help but kneel
to the ease of the appeal
in black and white seems more real
Attending to the feel
feels surreal
or perhaps too genteel
not like words of steel
The allure of an anneal
sounds like a spiel
It’s just protective zeal
keeping us from fear
It feels like a reconstruction
to not follow the compulsion
and engage in feeling discussion
Just imagine the repercussions?
Words can lose their meaning
almost like we are dreaming
If we lean into believing
that feelings provide a fuller perceiving
Terms might seem fleeting
And we end up careening
Maybe its less about competing
and more about convening
the head’s worded thinking
with the heart’s vibrational musing
Providing a fuller way of being
An invitation to a deeper breathing
in and out revealing
all of life’s teachings
