Sharing my experiences and understandings of the Great I AM.

Be Triumphant!

on May 15, 2013
It is almost as if you can hear the music of the band pounding with excitement.  When the runner cross the finish line, when the Olympians are on the podium with their metals, when you finish a project you have been working on for months, when a basketball team scores that three-pointer out of nowhere.  These are all moments that make our heart sing.  Good won out!  The hard work paid off!  It is true that good things in life happened.  We see it in others–the capacity to overcome odds and uncertainty. Why then, when we face these things in little moments of our lives do we become so easily discouraged.  Are we not capable of the same thing?  Has not God-given us the courage and the strength to overcome even what seems impossible?  Of course he has, we just lose sight of it.  We become daunted by the process or impatient with how long it’s taking.  We try to do it alone and so we want to throw in the towel.  Remember it is a band that plays the triumphant hymns, not one instrument.  Maybe we are feeling defeated because we are trying to do it on our own.  My prayer for you today is to keep sight of the triumphant experience that you will have when you seek the help of others and God to overcome whatever obstacles are placed in your path today.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen
