Sharing my experiences and understandings of the Great I AM.

Be Helped!

on October 2, 2013
I spent most of my life thinking that I should know how to do things I didn’t know how to do.  I could try to rack my brain to figure out when I developed that story, but it is rather unimportant.  What is important is recognizing the ridiculousness of the story.  Why would I know how to do things I have never done before?  I don’t expect that of other people.  I think it has something to do with saving face.  The simplest and humblest thing that we can do is ask for help.   We can take the moments of not knowing and use them to create connection with other people.  Yes, I am talking about being vulnerable.  It is not about being perfect and knowing it all.  Besides I have never wanted to get close to those “perfect” and “know-it-all” people because all I see is how I don’t measure up.  Life is not a contest to be won it  is a race to run.  The only time you need compare is your own.  My prayer for us today is that we look upon our not knowings as opportunities to reach out and create a connection with those around us.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

“look upon our not knowings as opportunities to reach out and create a connection with those around us.” Very nicely put; I like it.
