Sharing my experiences and understandings of the Great I AM.

Be With Sadness!

on May 29, 2015

God equipped us with a whole myriad of energetic experiences known as emotions. They occur as a result of an attachment to a particular thought that we focus on.  This bundle of energy then creates an emotion–energy in motion that we experience as happiness, sadness, fear, anger, joy, etc.  We experience them in mind and body.  Somewhere along the way we made the decision that some feelings were good and others were bad.  It may have something to do with the fact that the energy level created by certain emotions is more vibrant than others.  I literally feel freer when I am feeling joy versus sadness.  I feel less bogged down when I am angry versus depressed.  However, the moment that I make the decision that one emotion is okay and the other is not I lose my freedom to express it and release it.  Sadness is one of those that is sometimes difficult to allow.  Somehow I got the message that sadness or anger was not okay unless of course it was justified.  But sadness and anger are a part of grief which is a process of letting go which is part of life.  Therefore to deny sadness or any energy in motion is to deny part of life.  Sadness or any emotion is not good or bad or right or wrong, it is simply an indication of a presence of energy and something to take a look at.  Whenever I am experiencing any of the “negative” emotions that I have adapted judgment towards I ask God for the courage to feel and release them.  This is the only way that I know not to stifle or stuff the energy.  What I have discovered over the years is that when I allow myself the opportunity to feel and ultimately release the undesirable emotions, there is more room for the desirable ones.  My prayer for us today is that we be open to allowing whatever energy in motion we are experiencing to be present and flow through us.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

Are you willing to be with whatever energy in motion that you are attaching to today?  Share in the comments.
