We live in a universe of learning. Everything is either love or a chance to grow in love. All else is an illusion. When we come from the head space of right or wrong, good or bad, we rob ourselves of the opportunity to learn a lesson. We are so quick to judge the experience instead of tasting the fruits of it. I always thought I should know stuff I didn’t know. I bought into the illusion that everything is either right or wrong, good or bad. Yet, there was something inside of me that had this curiosity that caused me to explore. I sensed there was something beyond that black and white mentality. They say that curiosity killed the cat, but we also say that cats have nine lives so maybe they are on to something. If we are willing to accept that in God’s world it is about love or learning to love then we are free to approach people and circumstances with curiosity. Jesus said we should be like children–hello, who has more curiosity than them? My prayer for us today is that we be willing to be curios about something that we are usually quick to judge.
