Sharing my experiences and understandings of the Great I AM.

Be With Upgrading!

on July 19, 2015

God of all creation call us to carry the latest and the greatest message of love.  Fortunately the task for which we have been called to mission has not changed. It is the same one that is already imprinted on our hearts. We do not have to look very far to connect with the task to which we have been entrusted.  In the quiet space of our hearts it speaks loudly and clearly.  In the warmth of our spirits, a strong power is ignited.  Our job is to let go of the things that we have placed on top of our hearts so that we can easily and effortlessly connect with the power and the message.  It is a continual process because we live day-to-day and take on new stories and ideas that are not our true selves.  God can help us to be restored and upgraded to our truest selves if we invite God into the process.  God wants very much to relieve us of anything that is not our true essence but God will not come into our hearts uninvited.  The reason that I don’t invite God in for an upgrade is because I get caught up in the identification and forget that it is not my true self.  When God and I spend time together on our dates,  I am reminded of who I truly am and am given the chance to choose to let go of that which is not truly me.  It really is just that easy.  It is only my ego which has become attached and thinks it will die if I let go of the story.  God reminds me that I cannot be destroyed by a story one way or the other.  My true essence transcends any story and is always present even when God is the only one who can see it and bear witness to it.  My prayer for us today is that we be willing to trust that God knows our truest self and even if any upgrade seems like a loss of the old, remember that it is a loss of the false, not the old.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen
