Who we are is creative.  We were created by God who embodies love in all her creation.  There is nothing living that does not bear the imprint of the Creator.  We have the capability and possibility to express our creativity to generate life just as our Creator has done with us.  Creativity is an extension of who we are in our being.  It is not about being artistic or wanting to perform or even creating in the most accepted modalities.  We create connection when we smile at another human being.  We create room to breathe when we acknowledge another’s presence.  We create interest when we focus our attention.  The capacity for creativity to live through our being happens whether we intend it to or not.  Think of what we could create in our day if we set the intention to create from the deepest part of ourselves.  Think of what we might create if we don’t set the intention to create from our truest selves.  The world is full of creations that support life and those that take away from it.  Creativity can be our portal to design and affirm the presence of love in our world, in each other, and in ourselves.
