The confidence and conviction from which God operates is unlike anything in our perception. God’s certainty of our purpose stems from the intimate knowledge of our design by the one who created us.  I am often unclear as to what my purpose is and when I do know I suffer from fear that I will not have what I need to be able to accomplish it.  God has no such thoughts or feelings about me.  God knows that I would not have the purpose written in my heart without also having the means by which to carry it out.  The assuredness from which God operates is available to me if I only ask.  God, show me how you see this. Another favorite of mine given to me by a priest friend when I was in college which guides the beginning of my date with God, Holy Spirit, show me what to do, tell me what to say and use me as you will. Our path of assuredness comes when we return to the source of our being for the strength to do what is in front of us to do.
