Be Of Patience!
Be Of Revelation!
God is transparent. We are given this great gift of life. We did not ask for it. We hardly know what to do with it most of the time. What if the design for our lives is already written out for us? What if our experiences are the designed to show us the power of love? What if we are equipped to handle anything that comes our way? If God in infinite wisdom saw fit to design everything that exists with such intricacy, would God really leave us to figure it out on our own? Maybe it isn’t a question of figuring out whether or not we are meant to be here or what our purpose is? Maybe it is about letting go of the things we made up about who we are while we were in the process of figuring it all out? God is love beyond understanding and wants for us to awaken to the love with which we were created. When we connect with this realization for ourselves we are revealed to the world. God has designed such a varied universe that nothing can be excluded from love or the definition of love. These variations that exist physically, emotionally, spiritually and in all ways as waves of love’s presence. We are the ones who have chosen to place labels of separation and distinction amongst the varying entities. God sees no separation. My suffering is tied to my lack of ability to see God’s presence in a person, place or thing. I have learned through my meditation dates that one of the most powerful things I can do is lay my thought before God and say, “Can you show me how you see this? I want to recognize the presence of love in this person, situation, personal characteristic, experience or whatever it may be.” Then I am open to experience the revelation of love where I only see darkness or separation.
Be Of Exploration!
Be Of Actuation!
God is alive. We are alive in God. God-given life is perpetuated by growth and actualization. God created experience is bestowed upon all of us with each new breath. We think that our day has started and it is too late to begin again. This moment is life. Therefore this moment we begin. We have multiple opportunities to create and recreate our living experience when we are in the present. Our unconscious mind that runs most of our programming would have us think that if it did not already happen a certain way, it is not going to happen. That is its function. We can be grateful and acknowledge the power of our unconscious and also recognize its limitations when it comes to the present moment. If we did not have automatic programming we would be so consumed by the very basic life tasks like breathing, walking, and talking because we would have to concentrate on them. Being actuators means we can be grateful for what is working for us and recognize where we are called to show up and take action in our lives. Where are we being called to love? How are we being asked by our interactions to learn about love? Who would God have us be in this present moment? How might God see the challenging situation we are facing? My meditation date time with God is an opportunity for me to ask God how I might be in actuation today.
