There is nothing more powerful than being present in a moment in which we are touched, moved or inspired!  It lights us up from the inside.  The impetus for that inspiration, touch or movement often comes from outside of ourselves but the impact is felt deep within our hearts. This brothers and sisters is where God lives.  In the space of our hearts where God dwells most deeply is our fundamental sense of being and where we can connect profoundly at any given moment.  The touched part of ourselves, the inspired part of ourselves, and the moved part of ourselves is within us at all times.  It does not rely upon something happening outside of us for creation.  It is the outside that may awaken our awareness to it, but that is not where it lives.  God has made that a part of who we are and when we wake up to it we touch a sense of the divine.  The Divine partnership to which we were born.  When I spend my date time with God, in those small quiet moments of the morning, there are many little moments in which I feel touched deep in my heart.  It is hard to stay there sometimes because my head is spitting out thoughts like they are going out of style, but my breath quickly brings me back there.  The beauty of the breath is that means that at any point in my day, especially when I am feeling disconnected and thrown about by life, I can stop and reconnect to be touched once again.  My prayer for us today is that we be open to being touched by God within our own hearts so that we can start to recognize ourselves.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen
