Sharing my experiences and understandings of the Great I AM.

Be in Continuance!

on September 16, 2014
God created us with exactly all the things we needed when we entered began our lives on this earth.  But the creation did not stop there.  Each day God invites us to participate and continue the work that was started.  Our hearts are encouraged to grow, our minds are invited to learn, and our spirits are invited to breathe in that partnership of creation that The Great Creator designed.  Our ego is all about getting it done and living in the same story because that is what it identifies with and identity means it is surviving.  When we change our perspective and continue to look for opportunities to incorporate new things, our fragile egos become threatened.  This is why we find ourselves being defensive or closed off.  But if we connect to who we truly are in our spirit–we see that we can continue to grow and change and evolve and it is not a threat to who we have already become.  Truly by doing so we are a part of the very nature of the universe in which we exist.  In nature things are continuing to grow and change.  Scientists have even found new species of plants and animals as time progresses.  Change is the only constant.  Our resistance to it is what causes the pain.  If I am certain that is not going to be good to change, then I am going to fight it.  But what if I didn’t have to fight it?  What if I could just ask The Great Changer for the confidence to continue the work of change that is constantly happening even within my own body?  The cells that are present in your body today are not the same ones that were there seven years ago.  The breath you are breathing now is not the same one that you breathed an hour ago.  So the joke is on us!  We are continuing to change, whether we want to or not.  How exciting it is to step into what is already happening and play a part in it?  My prayer for us today is that we open our eyes to the ways that we embrace change without the fight and ask God for the courage to bring that same spirit to the areas we are fighting.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

Are you willing to recognize how you are already continuing to change each day and embrace it more fully with all that you are?  Share in the comments.
