God is a given.  God is the answer no matter what the question is.  God is always God.  God is ever-present.  God is the one constant in our ever-changing lives which is why God is that which we can rely upon no matter what.  Our relationship with God ebbs and flows.  Our relationship with God doesn’t always feel constant, but feelings are not facts.  Our minds are equipped with tremendous mechanisms for survival and I am personally grateful for them.  They are after all also from God.  Our minds however, are not all we are.  Who we are, like God, is not dependent on circumstance or outer manifestation, or approval from others.  Who we are at our core transcends our mind’s understanding.  When we feel like things are stuck, life sucks, we are not enough, and everyone is out to get us we are relying on the unconstant perspective of who we are. The constancy of who we are is not based on our circumstance because they will change but our essence will not.  My prayer for us today is that we be willing to let go of defining ourselves by our finite and ever-changing reality and be open to seeing ourselves as God sees us constantly.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen
