When we look at our lives as a series of lessons from which we gather information, that we never reach them, it is about maintaining a level of curiosity of the unknown life is a lot lighter.  We don’t worry about making mistakes, it’s all information.  I was not raised to see things this way, but clearly a lot of people were not.  What is amazing to me is the degree to which we resist the opportunity to participate in intrigue.  We falsely believe a sense of safety is created by knowing the answer or how things are going to turn out.  God lives in the mystery.  God delights in the exploration of our world and ultimately our own hearts.  If we are willing to live in the space of intrigue there is an excitement and a reliance upon God that we do not otherwise afford ourselves.  It grows the strength of our heart to stretch beyond what we know in our minds.
