The Great Spirit is in all places and all spaces.  When our eyes are opened to the awareness of God we do not have to go very far in our seeking.  It is the seeking path that ignites the spirit of all life within us to keep moving forward. We are drawn from our hearts to connect with this power greater than ourselves because deep down we know therein lies our satisfaction and peace.  God invites us to go inward to connect with this seeking .  We find  we do not have to seek at all, it is with us in all places and all spaces.  We become frustrated and exasperated because we constantly seek outside ourselves for an affirmation of the truth of who we are.  No title, no material object, no relationship, no status, no guru, and no religion can satisfy our inner knowing of connectedness to the One Who Is All.  We find may find temporary peace with those outside things but only the Eternal One is eternal.  There are many times over the years, when I want to give up and throw in the towel. I felt disconnected from myself and  from God. It is in those times that God is present, inviting me to see God in a completely different way.  I know that my heart always seeks God.  When I am willing to let go of whatever constructs are in my mind about how I expect or have previously experienced God, I am free to be open to new possibilities.  God delights in our seeking because it is the splendorous experience to surprise one’s beloved over and over again making love ever fresh and ever new.  My prayer for us today is that in the little moments of this day, when we think we no longer have it in us to keep seeking, be willing to take a breath and trust that our hearts we never cease to connect with the Eternal One.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

God swaddles his creations with a love that is beyond understanding.  We were formed from the start from a love that wraps in and through us on all levels.  We can step back into that knowing any time we wish.  We simply need to let go of anything we think or believe that stands in contradiction to it.  Simple but  not easy. Our heads try valiantly to understand love.  But the mind that was created cannot understand the mechanism that created it..  We get glimpses and insights in our minds of what love is, but to fully understand it calls us to step away from our minds. Love is something that is beyond space and time.  Love has no limits.  If we are to be in a knowing of love we need to transcend the solely human experience of which our mind is entrenched and be wrapped up in the knowing of God.  It is frightening when we have lived our whole lives based on the belief that we “should” be able to understand everything.  The mystery can be scary especially since the mind interprets the unknown as typically not  good.  This is where faith comes in.  A belief in love is only as strong as the courage to step outside of everything we think we know and just be with God.  On my dates with God I have learned to just be.  Sometimes I feel a connection to God, sometimes I don’t.  Either way I show up each day in the hopes of being wrapped up in a love that goes beyond what my chatty brain can comprehend.  There God meets me and accepts me where I am.  God reminds me throughout the day when things fall into place that I am in the flow of life and God is in everything and with everyone.  My prayer for us today is that we be willing to take a few quiet moments to still the mind long enough to sense the wrapping of God’s love.  Make it a great one! God is all-encompassing!  There is no place or time where God is not.  All the variations that exist in the world are present because God saw fit to create them.  All the options in life are there because God does not prohibit us from the possibilities.  God wants us to create from the truth of our being.  God knows that what one of us creates is going to be different from the other but all are accepted.  We each have a unique role to play.  We each have unique creations to design to show the presence of love in a different form.  The range of love in God’s realm has no limits.  The possibilities of love in world are only limited by our thinking.  When I look at my life and the times when I felt most disconnected from love and from God ,it was when I was expecting love and or God to show up in a certain way.  I had limited my range of understanding and acceptance of who or what love is. God never wavered during those times. God continued to stand with me and knew that when I had limited the range so much that I was suffocating myself, I would call out to him.  Each day on our date, God invites me to expand my range of vision to see love in the forms that lay outside my current mind’s thinking.  It is God’s way of encouraging me to see love from the eyes of my heart and less from the eyes in my head.  When I am willing to do this, the range of love that is present far exceeds anything I could have imagined and I experience peace.  My prayer for us today is when we find ourselves feeling restricted and not seeing love that we ask God to help us expand our range.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

The Wise One had endowed us with various capabilities.  Our way of expressing gratitude is to use them.  Sometimes we falsely think that if we acknowledge and utilize our gifts we are being egotistical.  Who are we to be fabulous?  Who are we to shine?  Who are we not to?  How can I presume that God gave me a certain talent or inclination and the world cannot handle it?  God is greater than the world because God designed the world.  I somehow don’t think that my playing my part will upset the divine continuum.  On the contrary, me not doing my part might upset it. We have a mission to be the love from which we are created.  Love comes in many  diverse forms.  God does not limit love or an understanding of love the way that we do.  This is how we know that God is a power greater than ourselves.  The agility of God is such that there is no limit to love or its fullest expression.  Why do you think there are so many of us and we keep coming?  Love has not yet reached its fullest expression.  We need to do our part.  Our part is playing  the role that lives and moves us from our heart, not some role assigned to us by our conditioning or what we think others expectations are.  My prayer for us today is that we be willing to adopt the agility of God when it comes to seeing our gifts and our talents.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

The Great Spirit designed all of life so that we might enjoy every morsel.  All of God’s creation are endowed with love in their design.  If we are willing to let go of our mind’s finite definition of love and what is worthy of love then we have the opportunity to experience the abundance of love that is around us and within us.  Being able to discern is a useful skill.  We have decisions to be made and paths to take.  Deciphering what is the correct course for us in the moment is what we are here to do.  Ultimately there is only one question: Will this decision lead me further on the path of love or will it take me away from it?  Will this draw me closer to God whom designed the love that resides within me or cause me to want to separate myself from myself and others?  Will this expand my heart or will it close my heart?  All the same question, just different formats.  One thing that I have learned on my dates with God is that God never ceases to see the expansiveness of my heart and the capability of loving fully.  My prayer is that I may more readily remember that about myself so that I can choose my life from it.  When I cannot, I simply reach for the hand of God, asking to whisper in my ear to jog the memory of when I knew nothing else. Sometimes I can picture the face of God nestled in the nape of my neck as the whispering occurs and it makes me smile because my heart is joyful at the remembering.  My prayer for us today as we make our decisions big and small that we have the fortitude to look at what decisions we are truly making and reach for the hand when needed.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

The Divine Generator of all existence is always Love and will be always love.  We can take that to the bank.  The ultimate guarantee in life is that no matter what happens.  God cannot cease being God.  God is not changed by external circumstances.  God is Lord of All.  The Great Transcendent.  When we are called upon in the quiet of our hearts to be in communion with The Great One we are being invited to step into an experience of love. No more, no less.  There is nothing more than love and therefore there is also nothing less than love.  We forget this because we inhabit an experience that is limited by space and time. God’s guarantee of love is not limited by space and time.  When God I and I have our dates, in the quiet of the morning, I am invited to remember and connect to the deepest part of myself that existed long before I took on human form.  Then I can remember to take that with me as I walk through my day into and experience of limitation.  As long as I remember love I am more likely to live it and practice it.  The guarantee that God provides us is that if we forget, all we have to do is call upon the name of God and we will be restored to remembrance.  My prayer for us today is that when we find ourselves believing only in the limitation of this world, that we call out to God: Help me remember.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

Great God of All That Is meets us in the in between spaces.  God calls to us and reaches out to us as me move from moment to moment.  With all the fast-moving, instant satisfaction momentum we don’t take much time to pause and reflect or even just take a new conscious breath.  It is hard for us to understand how God would show up in the pauses because we are taught to not value the in between.  We are taught that lack of motion is wasted or pointless.  We are taught that life is about results and thus measure our time and our energy from that perspective.  God shows us that all of life is important and it is the places when we stop, notice, and be with whatever that we see the gems of our lives.  My life is as full as anyone else’s and when I have moments when I am not doing something I often feel uncomfortable.  As though I am not being because I am not doing.  But just the opposite is true. I can only truly do when I am being.  My prayer for us today is that we embrace those pauses and in between moments to cherish being as God cherishes us no matter what we are doing. The One who is All began our lives with the order of love.  We are designed as an assortment of love in all forms.  We are the system of love.  We are the procedure of love.  No matter what form or shape we take love is at the core of who we all are.  We experience the order and flow of life when we are in our alignment of self.  There is a peace and an acceptance of life on life’s terms when we are resonating with our true order.  The focus on the form itself or the arrangement causes us to lose sight of the core of the creation and the creative process.  For me, when I get stuck in my stinking thinking that this (whatever this current circumstance happens to be at the moment) is not how it “should” be, I am disordered.  I have forgotten that the very fact of the existence of something means there is love there somewhere.  I am just blind to it because I am focused on the form in which it is presenting itself.  I turn to God and ask: How can there possibly be love here?  How is this part of the Great Creation?  Help me make sense of this because I cannot. It is my willingness to trust that God is never anything short of  love that enables me to be willing to ask the question.  Then I move on to the next indicated step and do my part as I wait for the response.  This is not easy, but it is always simple.  I get to continue to be who and what I know myself to be at my core, despite the circumstances.  I know deep down that the circumstances and experiences do not change me, only God can change me. I am certain that God will not remove love from me, so there is nothing to fear. This is the true sense of order that I crave in my very being, the certainty of God even when I don’t understand God.  My prayer for us today is that we be willing to ask the question, be confused, and open to the answer while we continue to conduct ourselves in the order of which we were created no matter the circumstances.  Make it a great one! Great Spirit longs to be close to us.  We were created from All That Is Love as light paths of that love.  We are called to be close to our creator so that we can remain in that love.  The world is full of callings in many directions.  We do our best to set out and follow a calling that we feel is in alignment with who we are or what is expected of us.  We find fulfillment in the path or not and set out on a different one.  Each day there is a renewal to our calling as human beings.  God calls to each of us in the quiet of our hearts at each moment, in each breath. How we respond to that call determines our sense of peace.  There is nothing good or bad about whatever human calling we embark upon or path we follow.  But for true fulfillment in our hearts we must listen to the inner calling of our spirit.  This is the calling that guides us on who we are being as we are present in our lives fulfilling our physical path.  This is the calling that shows us how to act and what to say in those in between moments where there are no guide books  from the corporate, education, or government world.  This calling is the one that is with us when our heads hit the pillow at the end of the night and greet us first thing in the morning when we open our eyes.  My prayer for us today is that we be open to whom God is calling us to be in this moment as many times as we are courageous enough to do.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

The Great Spirit of Breath and Life lives in accordance with the truth of love.  Everything that comes from God is in alignment with the principles of love. We are part of this same creative process.  We exist and were designed from this same place of love.  When we act in accordance with its principles our lives have a peace and an ease that seems to surpass our mind’s understanding.  If we live just in our heads we will find ourselves trying to break down this love experience.  We cannot fit the mind of God inside our minds. It is a surrender to just be with the love that resides in us without having to figure it out.  Over and over our ego will try to assert itself by insisting that it needs to know how and why.  This is so it can justify its existence. Sometimes we just need to take the ego by the hand, like a child, and say, its okay I will be with you, I will not abandon you if you can’t figure this out.  There is no need to, just sit and be with me.  God whispers this same message to us in the quiet of our hearts. When we accept that, we can live in the peace of the accordance of truth.  My prayer for us today is that we be open to speaking to ourselves the way God speaks to us with love.  Make it a great one!
