Our very being to the core is alive with love.  We are children of the Great Divine who is All LOVE. We were designed with a destiny of love and it is imperative that we live out our destiny and experience our full and true self. Our mission is written on our souls and lives in our hearts.  Our suffering comes from our disconnection from our purpose.  Our pain comes from a lack of recognition of our creation origin.  Our dis-ease comes from our forgetfulness of our true selves.  When we live in a physical world that is all about the outer appearance of things it is easy to be swept up into the thinking that if we do not look like or behave like everyone else, there is something wrong with us.  We were not designed to be copy cats.  We may not love exactly the same, be aware of own truth exactly the same, or be a light for the world in exactly the same way. This does not make one way more right or correct than our own.  God cannot be defined.  God is beyond our understanding.  So each one of us is placed here on this earth to be a witness to LOVE in all its forms and manifestations.  When we are willing to let go of our ideas of exactly who or what God “should” be, the more open we will be to being the fullest expression of LOVE as only we can be. My prayer for us today is that we be open to seeing how God shines through us in our own special way and bring our breath into alignment with that reality of ourselves.  Make it a great one! The Great Creator holds all that has been created with such closeness and reverence.  Think of the things that you have been responsible for creating or for which you played a part in its growth.  Maybe it was a child, a project, an idea, a design, a garden, a dance piece, a relationship, an outfit, a gathering, a writing, or anything of which you were there from the beginning.  Do you not hold those things close to your heart?  Did you not give something of yourself in order to birth that experience?  A part of you will always be with that creation.  It bears the marking of you even when it blooms and becomes its own.  God is the same with us.  All sacred scriptures speak of a God that designed us out of love.  With the desire to create more love came us and all of creation.  We therefore, are one with that love.  The mark of love is in and through us.  No matter how far we may stray from it, it cannot be undone.  Do we forget where we come from?  All the time.  But God is a persistent reminder.  All That Is uses all that is to remind us from which we came.  When we are aligned with our truth we know it in our bones, our cells, and we sense the connection to more.  God wants more and more of that for us.  Not because God thinks were bad when we miss the mark and forget, but because God wants us to see with the eyes of love the way that God sees.  It was out of the desire to share love that we were created.  Being in alignment and not missing the mark  enables us to be our truest selves.  There are moments and days when I cannot fathom how or why God loves me.  I have had years spent in judgment and self-hatred of myself and thus others because I kept missing the mark of love.  This is how I know that God is a power greater than me.  When I fall back into those experiences or old ways of being, God does not.  God is the persistent reminder that LOVE still is, even if I am not being love that I am.  The pain I experience is my soul’s mourning for the connection that I once had.  As our dates have carried on throughout the years, I marvel the most at all the myriad of ways that God calls me to remember.  This mysterious LOVE transforms, creates, upholds, and always wins.  When I do get realigned God does not sit with his arms crossed and point a finger at me. God embraces me with joy knowing that I paid attention to the little signs along the way that brought me back to my heart.   My prayer for us today is that we be open to the myriad of signs and experiences that God has placed on our path to call for our realignment with the LOVE from which we were designed.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

God created us and this world to carry a vibration of love.  We are this vibration at all times.  We cannot escape it, it is in our make-up.  Whether we are aware of it or not we are transmitting a vibration, energy waves, a resonating beyond the physical space that we take up.  In fact our energetic vibration extends beyond our physical presence.  You notice when you walk into a room and it has a certain “energy”.  You are experiencing the mingling of the energetic vibration of everyone in that room.  When people are aligned for the same purpose that vibration is powerful and almost palpable.  One of the simple things we can do for ourselves when we do not feel connected to this vibration of love is turn up the volume on God.  Place ourselves in a space that resonates for us as sacred.  It could be nature, with music, smelling a flower, getting or giving a hug, standing in the sun, hearing laughter, laughing, etc.  In these years of dates with God I have come to an awareness of the things that make the volume of love higher or lower.  I know that when I do not feel connected to All That Is I have to raise the volume.  One of my favorite ways to do this is through music. Sometimes it literally means turning up the volume, other times it means singing along so that my vibration matches that of the music, and other times it is having it play quietly in the background.  Standing in the sun with my arms open wide is another way to let the volume of love rise in me through the power and the warmth of the light.  My prayer for us today is that we find a way to turn up the God volume so that our true resonance of love emanates in and through us.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

Our design by God is that we always be connected to All That Is.  When we come to recognize that God is our source and that we are not separate we are able to live fully.  All of a sudden we are not dependent upon only our own resources.  Our connection and reliance is on the Originator of All Things.  When all is quiet in our minds and we presence ourselves in our souls, we admit that there is a sense that something is missing.  We can chase after it outside of ourselves all we want.  We may even find something to fill it temporarily but all eventually falls away.  It is when we recognize that we have a God-size hole in our hearts that is burning to be filled we come home.  This dependence upon God may appear to the outside world like a crutch or a being needy.  Quite to the contrary it is our freedom.  Freedom because it allows us to step into our full power and our fullest experience of living.  I spent many years chasing an addiction that I had convinced myself through my thinking was providing the safety and protection that I never had.  I thought for sure (not consciously) that by carrying an extra bunch of weight (over 100 plus pounds), being checked out on sugar, and closing off my heart was allowing me to not be disappointed or betrayed by people or life ever again.  When it all came crumbling down and I could not longer sustain the addiction, all I had left was my dependence upon God.  God had always been there and I included him in my life, but only on the things that I thought I needed help with.  The walls I had built up from my own soul were so thick that it took the breakdown to breakthrough my false beliefs of dependence on self.  On the road of recovery I found that the more I depended upon God for my every thing, the more I am free to not need to create my own protection and sense of self.  It is a daily walk and on our dates, God shows me more and more with each breath that the plans for me are greater than my grandest imagination.  I am not nor are any of us destined to a small safe life. Through our dependence upon God we can step out of fear and need to be in control and live and breathe in the freedom of being connected to All That Is.  My prayer for us today is that we be open to allowing ourselves to depend upon God in some small way today that we were resistant to yesterday.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

God created in nature constant reminders of the presence of All That Is.  Nature seems to have a flow and a relaxation into life. You don’t stand next to a tree and hear it fighting to get bigger and taller.  You don’t sense the angst of a flower wanting to bloom.  It seems to be open and take it all in as it comes.  When I find myself feeling lost and disconnected from this sense of the flow of life I listen for the beating.  I listen for the rhythm that is in my body–the flow in and out of air in my chest, the beating of my heart, the pulse under my skin, the sound of my feet touching the ground.  These are constants that are going on whether I am thinking about them or not.  The flow and movement of the beating and the rhythm just is.  It reminds me that God just is even when I can’t feel God. I sense that it is a reminder to come back to the simplicity of God’s presence.  My prayer for us today is that we come back to the beating of our hearts and the rhythm of God’s basic presence in our lives.  Make it a great one! God’s viewpoint is LOVE.  The eyes through which God sees all of creation is LOVE.  We are called to embrace that same viewpoint so that we can experience life and all that is a part of life the way it is.  We get caught up in seeing things as we see them from our limited perspective.  It is not that we see wrongly.  It is that we see limitation.  We see separation.  We see good versus bad.  We are not able to take in all that is because once we see what we see, we believe it to be all that is.  God encourages us to expand our horizons.  To see beyond that which is known to us.  To extend ourselves further than we think we can go. Our hearts have the capability to allow us to expand into other viewpoints and perspectives if we want to. It is always our decision.  I recognize that I can become set on a specific perspective when I am focusing on how I am right and the other person or situation is wrong. There is nowhere to go from there.  If I want to be able to bring love to a situation I have to be willing to seek out love’s perspective.  Viewing through the eyes of love there is not just choice A or B, there is a multitude of choices.  Each choice can be measured by whether or not it brings me closer or further to love.  Do we see God’s horizon or ours? My prayer for us today is that we be willing to view the situations or persons that we encounter as not right or wrong but coming from a different viewpoint. Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

God is consistent, persistent, and never-ending!  God’s love therefore is consistent, persistent, and never-ending!  God pursues us like a madman who lives to know that his beloved is aware of how they are cherished on all sides, from all ends, and in all ways.  Think about it.  We are given a new breath every moment, the sun rises, the flowers bloom, and we experience life through a myriad of senses.  God is always ready to remind us we are loved in a way that only God can remind us.  If we are constantly looking to experience God’s love in a specific way we might be missing out on what is right in front of us.  I am always asking God: Help me to see as you see.  Help me to see where the love is.  Help me to be aware of your presence.  If I am unaware of God’s reiteration of love in the present moment it is not because it does not exist, it is because there is something in me that is not in tune with it.  It is not that I have done something wrong.  I have just slipped into a place of forgetting that which is the most powerful force ever.  My prayer for us today is that we allow God to reiterate how much we are love and are loved in an unexpected way.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

The Great Creator set out to create from LOVE.  The Great Creator designed all that is with this LOVE.  The Great Creator designed you out of LOVE.  When we look behind at the makings of our lives and the lessons we are presented with they are all opportunities to return to a remembrance of LOVE.  Somewhere along the line in our existence we lost touch with or fell asleep to that which is our true nature.  The human experience seems to be one of a path of remembrance.  One where we get to let go of the false stories that we have taken on as a result of circumstances and return to the real story which is God and nothing else.  At the end of the day our stories may be fascinating and dramatic but they pale in comparison to the power and majesty of LOVE which is the real story.  I can easily forget that I am love, created by and for love when I am irritated or feel alone or triggered by a circumstance.  It is then that I turn to God and humbly ask to help with remembering who I really am and why I am here.  Then the soft quiet gentle voice in ways I never thought possible or imagined shows up to remind me.  My prayer for us today is that we be willing to notice that when we are stressed or feel disconnected from love we are just forgetting who we are.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

The Universe is all set.  The universe is set up to allow for our goodness to shine.  Everything that happens in our lives is meant to lead us to learning how to love and how to be love.  Even the difficult things that happen are designed so that we can embrace the purest part of ourselves which is love. When we experience challenges there is nothing wrong.  We are coming face to face with thinking or a way of being that is not in alignment with our highest good. Therefore because our soul and our heart knows we are greater than who we are being or thinking at the moment there is distress.  This lack of alignment causes a dis-ease.  If we choose to work in cooperation with the opportunity to return to who we are in our core then we will once again experience the peace that is our natural state of being.  God is here to help us with this every step of the way and actually coordinates elements so that we can return home to our hearts.  My prayer for us today is that we be willing to look for the elements of coordination in the universe that are part of the design to return us to the peace of our hearts.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen

Where God is there is no fight and there is no struggle.  There is simply a surrender to the flow of all of life. God calls upon us to stay close to Him, to draw near to the goodness that we are and experience being a part of this flow.  There is a peace and an ease that comes with being in the flow of love and light.  It is the core of who we are.  There is no fight or struggle to get there because it is recognition of our true selves. There is nowhere to get.  The peace that God promises lives within us and always has.  Once we are willing to let go of all the other things that we have taken on from our stories of who we are, the easier it is to be aligned with God and our true selves.  The fight comes when we want to hold on to the story.  We have been telling ourselves the same story for such a long time that we don’t even recognize that it is not true until it begins to fall apart.  The falling apart feels like the breakdown of who we are but it is actually the opening to discover ourselves at our highest, truest and purest experience.  My prayer for us today is that we embrace the breakdowns of our story as an opportunity to see ourselves as God sees us and not fear.  Make it a great one!  Peace~Colleen
