God stays. The miraculous perspective of our Creator is evidenced in the persistent nature of love in a world only defined often by barriers and strife disconnected from the truth of its heart. We seems to wander aimlessly in search of something to lay claim to with our hearts. We long to connect on a deeper level but become exacerbated when it doesn’t happen the way we picture it in our minds. I can get frustrated and want to bail or guard my heart. God doesn’t waste time getting frustrated when we don’t show up and appreciate love’s manifestation. Perhaps that is why God is a power greater than us. God just finds another way to connect. God sticks around until the miracle happens.
My prayer for us is the courage to stick around allow ourselves to be surprised by God’s staying power of love today.
