God distinguishes. In the realm of the spirit we are all one. We are aware of our current similarities now when we get to the essence of our hearts. When we focus on our outer appearance or circumstance we see the variations present. It is not an either or proposition. There is room for it all. If we remember God is in all of us and all our experiences we can quickly begin to notice the variations of God. This how we are able to embrace the reality of God. God is a variety of manifestations and experiences. We are not confined to one understanding. The only requirement be an acknowledgment that God is. What God is changes all the time. It keeps our relationship fresh and reminds us that no matter what God can be present in and through everyone and everything.
My prayer for us is the courage to let go of our ideas of what we know God to be and embrace the variations of love present in us and around us today.
