The more we let go of our ideas of love, the more open we can be to the possibilities of love. When we lose ourselves in the process of showing up for life we receive the gift and power of presence. When we lose ourselves in the recognition of the power in our hearts we come home to ourselves. My daily prayer and meditation dates with God provide an opportunity to practice the losing of self and the joining of my heart with a power greater than me. It opens the space to an opportunity to broaden my vision. Our time together breaks apart the congestion around my heart so I can see.
My prayer for us is the courage to lose the ideas and conceptions of love and be open to how love shows up today.
